　混沌とした世の中で光を求めて生きている私たちにとりまして、佛様との出会い程、安らぎをいただけるものはありません。貴い佛師たちが感性の扉を開き、祈りながら、佛様の創造に携わっているように、私も心を透明にして一刻一刻を鉛筆で掘り込んでいきます。小さな画紙に宇宙の広がりを感じる時間です。

　悠久の時間の流れの中で私の存在は、ほんの一点にすぎませんが、数多くの試練と向き合い、生かされて生きていることへの感謝の気持ちを表現したいと思っております。 故郷の山々や美しい花々に、夢や希望や感動を託して、生命を吹き込みながら創作していきたいと思います。今を生きる者として、先祖の想いを嗣ぎ、社会的役割と責任を画家の立場で世に問いながら、果たしていくことができましたら幸せです。

We live in pursuit of hope in today’s chaotic world and nothing creates a more peaceful atmosphere than an encounter with the Buddha. Just like the noble sculptors engaged in the creation of Buddhist images while releasing their emotions and praying, I maintain a transparent mind and engrave the images by pencil. At this time, I feel the vastness of the universe on the small drawing paper.

 My presence is merely a tiny dot in the universe in the abyss of time; however, I would like to express my appreciation for being kept alive or being alive while facing many challenges. I would like to breathe new life into my creative activities by putting my dreams, hopes, and aspirations into my work when drawing the mountains and beautiful flowers of my hometown. In accordance with the spirits of my ancestors, I hope I can fulfill my social role and responsibility as a painter as well as a person who lives in the present.
